We specialise in the safe handling and delivery of high-value, handmade furniture, cabinetry, stone worktops and similar fragile items into private homes. The accreditation is built from real on-site work, not classroom theory.
Most “manual handling” training is generic warehouse stuff. It doesn’t prepare people for real-world risk: tight staircases, polished floors, irreplaceable walnut cabinetry and clients who expect perfection. We built White Glove Certified to fix that gap — and to give installers, couriers and delivery teams proof of competence they can actually show to insurers and customers.
White Glove Certified was created by Venture Logistics Ltd, a specialist courier company recognised for the safe handling and delivery of luxury, handmade and fragile furniture across the UK. Our team moves irreplaceable pieces daily — cabinets, marble tables, stone worktops, and bespoke installations — into real homes, showrooms and exhibitions.
To raise the safety, skill and reputation of the industry.
To protect workers, customers and property through real-world competence.
To give every trained handler proof of professionalism that clients and insurers can trust.
The accreditation combines online theory, practical assessment and final verification — developed directly from Venture Logistics’ operating procedures and risk-management framework. Graduates earn a QR-verifiable certificate and permission to display the White Glove Certified mark on vehicles, websites and documentation.
Built on real delivery work, not classroom theory
Every lesson and procedure comes from actual site experience — narrow staircases, marble floors, unboxed items, wet driveways, irate clients. It’s designed by working professionals, not compliance consultants.
Covers the full chain of safe handling
From lifting technique (with or without tools) and protective wrapping to vehicle loading, stair navigation, and final placement, every step is documented and assessable.
Includes legal, insurance, and communication standards
Learners understand duty-of-care, customer rights, and how to communicate delays, damage, and refusals professionally.
The goal: fewer claims, calmer clients, safer staff.
Assessed through written submissions
Each module concludes with a written assessment designed to evidence applied understanding. Candidates are required to analyse practical delivery scenarios and demonstrate competence in safe handling, communication, and professional judgement.
Submissions are individually reviewed by an accredited assessor; feedback and, where necessary, resubmission may be required. Only candidates who successfully complete all written assessments to the required professional standard are awarded accreditation.
White Glove Certified bridges the gap between manual skill and professional recognition. It gives independent delivery teams, sub-contractors, and installers a credible standard to prove competence — and gives clients a reason to trust you with property worth more than most vehicles.
We continue to operate nationally, delivering handmade furniture and fine interiors with the same triple-layer care that inspired this standard. The lessons we teach are the same ones we practise daily.
